I adore the proportions of this vessel, wider than it is tall. Although too short for a planter (what I was originally intending it to be), it is ideal for a styled flower bouquet. Floral bowls are a great way to display minimal and bountiful arrangements. With the aid of a kenzan pin or similar (not included but available to purchase separately), you can have more control over how your stems sit and the overall look and style of your arrangements.
Mijikai means short in Japanese.
