Beginners Ceramic Hand Building Reindeer Mug Workshop Dec 5th

£70.00

Learn how to make a ceramic reindeer mug with me in this Christmas workshop edition!

Discover how to hand-build your own ceramic mug in this engaging workshop. Over the course of the day, I’ll guide you through the enjoyable process of creating a unique vessel from clay.

In this hands-on activity, I will demonstrate essential techniques and provide support as you learn:

- Getting comfortable with clay properties and preparation.

- Using slab building and sculpting techniques to build your mugs form.

- Methods for securely joining clay sections.

- Tips for painting your reindeer design with underglaze.

This workshop is perfectly suited for individuals new to ceramics who want to learn the basics. However, those with previous clay experience looking to practise their hand-building skills are also very welcome.

All clay, tools, and necessary equipment for the activity are provided.

After the workshop, I will handle the finishing touches for you – applying my neutral glaze and firing your creation. Only one piece per person will be fired. Any extra pieces can be fired at an additional cost of £5 per piece.

Your mug will be ready to collect in 6-8 weeks. They can also be posted at an additional cost of £5 per piece for UK delivery. If looking to post outside the UK please contact me prior to purchasing to check if I post to your destination.
